The package covers all 100 stocks from the Nasdaq 100. An approach was chosen that favors growth-oriented stocks (revenue, profit, etc.).

The Germany letter selects stocks that primarily have strong momentum. The selection was further restricted on the basis of market capitalization in order to exclude small caps and microcaps. A price limit of EUR 5 also applies with regard to the listing.
In addition, this ranking system sorts stocks according to which ones have risen the most in price – both the stock itself and its sector. It therefore favors winning stocks that have been on an upward trend for some time and have an excellent return on equity.

In addition, we filter out companies with above-average but not extremely high dividend yields (to avoid “dividend traps” with extremely high – and unsustainable – yields). We also check whether the companies have paid dividends consistently in recent quarters and that there has been no reduction in dividends in recent periods. Key figures such as return on equity and return on total capital continue to be used, which leads to significantly lower fluctuations (see max. drawdown) in the capital curve. The icing on the cake is the consideration of analyst upgrades (sentiment).
HOW DO WE FIND THE BEST STOCKS?
We evaluate stocks using proven selection criteria. This means that we look at the most important key figures for companies—i.e., figures from balance sheets and financial reports. We select the 20 best stocks for you every month from more than 15,000 stocks.
We use up to 40 different company data points for this purpose. We evaluate these according to their significance (how important are key figures A, B, etc.). In the end, each stock receives a total score. We compile the stocks with the most points for you in a clear overview every month.
What makes SmartInvestor BRIEF special is that we test our rules not only in the present, but also retroactively. We examine what returns you would have made if you had invested according to our rules in previous years.
